Modern and Contemporary Cultures Research Group

The Modern and Contemporary Cultures Research Group is a research group in SLCCS that brings together scholars from all of the School's disciplines with interests in literary studies, cultural studies, film studies and critical theory. The research group aims to meet fortnightly and to alternate (as far as possible) its meetings between more literary studies based topics and more cultural studies based topics. The format of the seminars will be varied and open to many different kinds of presentations: finished papers, works in progress, reading groups, theme based discussions, etc.
