- CHIN1100 and CHIN2100 Spoken Chinese 1A and 1B;
- CHIN1200 and CHIN2200 Written Chinese 1A and 1B;
- CHIN3120 and CHIN3130 Advanced Conversational Chinese I and II;
- CHIN3800 Contemporary Chinese Popular Fiction and Film.
Research interests:
- Teaching and learning Chinese as a second language
- Acquisition of Mandarin tones by English speakers
- Popular Chinese fiction.
Current research projects:
- Contemporary Chinese knight-errant novels and film/TV adaptations.
