Bachelor of International Studies
The Bachelor of International Studies provides students with an interdisciplinary core of courses which provide grounding in the cultural and communicative aspects of globalisation and the world system.
A major in a language is a key component of this degree. Languages available for this degree are Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish.
Students will also complete one semester of study overseas with a UQ partner institution. The rest of the degree is made up of courses selected from discipline-based areas of study such as Asian studies, economics, history, international development, peace and conflict studies and internatiional relations.
