School Research
Research in the School of Languages and Comparative Cultural Studies focuses on the study of languages and the cultures in which they are spoken. These include not only the major world languages of Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Russian and Spanish, but also English as a second language, Australian Aboriginal and many other languages.
The School has five broad areas of research strength, each of which draws together researchers from a cross-section of language groups and disciplinary interests.
